Guestbook4U Version 0.8-05_2004 downloaded on 12th June 2004.
CPG-Nuke Version 8.2a.

The files were uploaded.
The Guestbook4U was shown in 'Modules'.
Install was clicked and the installation completed OK.
The Guestbook4U correctly shows in 'Administration' - 'Modules', next to Coppermine.
Clicking on this link brings up the Guestbook4U administration page, settings can be changed and accepted by clicking on 'submit'.
Calling the Guestbook by means of the 'Take a look here' link on the above page or the modules link produces the following error.

Array:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /myserverpath/modules/Guestbook4U/index.php on line 29.

Could anyone help an old (in age) webmaster in solving this.

download aktuall version here :
cpgnuke.de/index.php?n...amp;lid=21

uninstall old version - clear table and delete files

then make a fresh install with new version

Thank you for your reply.
I carried out your advise, unfortunately the problem remains the same.

I am wondering if it is linked to another problem which I am just posting on the UK site.
Here are the details of that problem.

I installed CPG-Nuke and activated some modules like the Gallery and Downoads.
The FAQ Module shows the following error whilst still showing INSTALL under the Functions heading.

Array:

MySQL Error while executing:
CREATE TABLE cms_faqAnswer ( id tinyint(4) NOT NULL auto_increment, id_cat tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', question varchar(255) default '', answer text, PRIMARY KEY (id), KEY id (id), KEY id_cat (id_cat) )

Table 'cms_faqAnswer' already exists

How this table exists without installing the Module is a mystery.

In phpMyAdmin I deleted the FAQ tables.
Refreshed the Modules Administration page and the FAQ Module has no error message.
Logged out

Logged in and the error message is there again.
I HAVE NOT CLICKED ON INSTALL.

I beleive I have the latest CPG-Nuke.
CPG-Nuke version 8.2a downloaded on the 22nd May 2004 from the GB website.
New install.

I have commented out line 29 and the Guestbook displays - thanks.

Re my FAQ comment, I searched the GB site and found the answer in 'Adding FAQ add-on: MySQL Error while executing:. I think topic 774.
It was a CPG-Nuke error in modules/FAQ/cpg_inst.php.
